Welcome to the Mountain Adventure Centre, now under new management. We have worked hard to stock the shop with an exciting range of new winter equipment. This season's skis and boots are all in store together with some great toys to make your winter a good one.
Our tours program has been extensively revised to offer a full range of half day, day and overnight trips. This year we are offering telemark and alpine touring backcountry trips, snowshoe adventures, backcountry boarding and cross country trips.
As always we have an extensive range of hire equipment with all kinds of new gear waiting for you. Just give us a call for details.
Snowcamping Equipment
A wide selection of equipment from: EPIRB, bivvy bag, Gore-Tex emergency shelter, stoves, booties, snowshovel, sleep mats, snow tents and cordura packs.
Ski Clothing
A wide range of Gore-Tex Parkas, Overpants, padded Nylong parkas and pants, Apres Snowboots and Gaiters.
XCD Telemark and Back Country
New Steel edged no wax karhu pavo skis with NBC or Cable Bindings and Boots. Demo Fischer also available.
Mountain Bike Hire
A selection of mountain bikes and helmuts are available for hire.
Camping Equipment
Wide range of equipment from 30 litre day pack, 80 litre pack, trangia stove with pots, summer/winter sleeping bags, a frame tents, dome or tunnel snow tents and trek clothing.
Alpine Skis
New head carve skis, poles and boots are available in store.
Cross Country Touring
NBC boots and bindings or three pin leather boots with touring no wax skis.
