Quad Biking

Getting astride one of Snowy Wilderness' 500cc top of the range Quad Bikes is exciting and is guaranteed to get your adrenalin running. The majestic beauty of Snowy Wilderness is combined with terrain that will absolutely exhilarate you. From the five kilometre Roller Coaster ride to the steepest and most rugged four wheel drive track to the most serene country with commanding views of the Snowy Mountains or into Victoria, the guided Quad Biking tours are a favourite and not to be missed. Being 18 years and over and having sturdy boots is your passport to explore on the Quad Bikes. You will never run out of new sights to discover and thrills to be experienced.

Horse Riding

There's nothing quite like the thrill of horse riding though the untouched heart of the Snowy Mountains, experiencing the true Man from Snowy River country on their own 7200 acres of pristine wilderness. Their guides are the best, drawing on knowledge from generations of horsemen and their own horses are first class, mountain fit and guarantee you the best ride. Bordering the Kosciuszko National Park and the famous Snowy river, Snowy Wilderness is a sanctuary for wild brumby and offers spectacular acreage bursting with experiences for you to discover.

Fly Fishing

Try your hand at fly-fishing - they're famous for it in the Snowy Mountains. Their three dams are stocked with local rainbow trout so there's a pretty good chance you'll catch a fish or two. You're welcome to try your luck without a guide but they're also happy to provide an expert to point you in the right direction, give you a few new tricks and help you bring in your haul. In addition to fly fishing on the property, they can also provide guided fishing tours so you can explore the region's finest fishing spots - the locals might just share a favourite fishing spot if you're lucky!

Wild Brumby Watching

The Snowy Wilderness concept was born as a way to protect Australia's wild brumbies and the Snowy Wilerness team are passionate about the brumbies and proud to be able to share this experience with you.. One of only two Australain brumby sanctuaries, Snowy Wilderness is home to more than 70 wild brumbies - including the legendary silver brumby. You're guaranteed to see some of the mob during your visit along, with some other residents - kangaroos, wombats, wallabies, echidnas, wedge tail eagles, emus and deer, not to mention the collection of birdlife and native flora.

Four Wheel Driving

The guided four wheel drive Tours are a must for those of you who want to put your four wheel drive through the ultimate test. Snowy Wilderness four wheel drive Trails are very challenging, with only experienced drivers recommended able to contemplate the tour. From the Roller Coaster to some of the most rugged terrain in Australia, this is truly a test of skill and nerve. From the comfort of your vehicle you can see the best sights and views of the Snowy Wilderness, including glimpses of beautiful wildlife. You bring your own vehicle and Snowy Wilderness will provide tents, camp ovens and equipment.

Trekking and Camping

Snowy Wilderness is perfect for trekking and camping. The rugged terrain, flora and fauna allow hikers to experience this wild country first hand. The camp oven feasts are renowned and the high country stories told by local guides become more real as the stars become brighter. Night Touring

The great thing about the Snowy Wilderness animals is that they don't know which night of the week it is, so they come out to play every night. Not to be missed are the signature guided night tours. Starting at sunset, this is the time the wildlife starts to play and the Aussie bush comes alive. The Southern Hemisphere stars, without other lighting pollution, are an unforgettable sight.
