Tom Groggin Rest AreaHere is where the Legend was created - The Man From Snowy River. Jack Riley, the stockman that Banjo Patterson wrote about in his famous Aussie poem, lived and worked on Tom Groggin Station. This is the country that was the site of that famous ride.

A picturesque camping and picnic area, in the Kosciuszko National Park, beside the Murray River, at the foot of the western face of the main range of the Snowy Mountains.

Open Times

This area is open to the public at all times, 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. It is situated in Kosciuszko National Park and you will need to display a Parks Pass. In winter you will need to carry chains.
