Celebrating Delegate and District Heritage
Two day event to celebrate the Delegate and District heritage. This year's event celebrates the 30 year anniversary of the Early Settlers Hut Bicentennial Project on Saturday and the Men From Snowy River March's return from WWI on Sunday.
There will be market stalls, poetry readings, non denominational service, food, wine and music. Come along and celebrate with them.
Saturday 27 October:
10am- 2pm Market stalls at Bill Jeffreys park
Pizza Oven will be heated and available for use.
2pm Welcome to Early Settlers Hut – Billy tea and Damper
2.30pm Poetry reading at Early Settlers Hut
5.30pm Wine, nibbles and Music at Early Settlers Hut
6.30 Music and dinner at Delegate Country Club
Sunday 28 October:
11am Non-denominational service at First Place of Worship on the Monaro (Delegate Cemetery)
March into Town using route of original March
12.30pm Official unveiling of Plaque’s at School of Arts
12.45pm lunch at School of arts
