Cherry Tree is a historical lifestyle property surrounded by many acres of farmland on the Snowy Monaro 20 minutes from Cooma. Driving from Cherry Tree along the country's scenic back roads via historical Dalgety on the Snowy River and Jindabyne at the foothills of the mountains it will take about one hour 15 minutes to reach the ski fields and Snowy Mountains National Park. Cherry Tree offers accommodation in two cottages. Cooks Cottage has two single beds (which can be combined to make a king double) and a sofa bed in the living room. The second is the stone cottage a large luxury studio-style getaway for two adults with a queen bed and a large travertine shower room with a heated floor. Both cottages have full kitchens and wood stoves and are furnished to a high standard. Both cottages have private outdoor seating areas and barbeque facilities to enjoy the scenery. For a small fee, guests can book the heated hot tub for their exclusive use. A highlight for guests is the opportunity to hand-feed alpacas and friendly Highland cows.
