Tumut Valley Holiday Park

Located just 5km from the picturesque township of Tumut, our park serves as the perfect gateway to the stunning Snowy Mountains and Kosciuszko National Park. Nestled amidst lush farmland and surrounded by majestic mountains, this park provides the ideal base for exploring the beauty of the region. The Tumut area is renowned for its abundant wildlife, rich history, and endless outdoor activities. Whether you're looking to hike through pristine forests, fish in crystal-clear rivers, or simply relax in nature, there is something for everyone to enjoy. They offer a range of accommodation options to suit every traveler. Stay in the comfortable motel rooms or bring your own caravan or tent and set up on our powered or non powered sites. For those with caravans or camping equipment, we provide powered sites with access to electricity for your convenience. For a more traditional camping experience, we also offer non-powered sites for those who prefer a rustic adventure without electricity. And for those traveling with furry companions, fear not! They welcome pets at our park, (powered sites/non powered site only) so you can bring your four-legged friends along for the journey. Whether you're seeking a peaceful retreat in nature or an action-packed adventure in the great outdoors, Tumut Valley Holiday Park has something for everyone.

The Middle

The Middle, formerly a traditional Aussie pub in the beautiful Snowy Valleys town of Adelong, now offers affordable accommodation in nine newly renovated pub-style bedrooms with quality features and shared bathroom facilities. Double, Queen and King rooms are available. Function space available for hire. With nine pub-style rooms and shared facilities, The Middle is the perfect accommodation option for a quick Snowy Valleys stopover or extended stay. It is also a great place for group or family get-togethers and gatherings. Downstairs, there is a coffee bar serving delicious coffee, roasted regionally for freshness. The coffee bar has a variety of light snacks (sweet and savoury) that are locally made, some using locally grown produce. The Middle also hosts a meeting room, with high-speed wi-fi as well as hot desks for privacy. The meeting room and hot desks are available for rent for half or full-day options. Jindabyne Sport and Recreation Centre

Jindabyne Sport and Recreation Centre is the perfect base to relax after a day of exploring the Snowy Mountains. Fully self-contained, the comfortable two-bedroom apartments sleep six and feature a television, bathroom with shower and full kitchen. Free WiFi is available and there are barbecue and shared laundry facilities. Also available are two-bedroom conference units and four-bedroom Athlete Village apartments. With the unparalleled beauty of Lake Jindabyne and Mount Kosciuszko National Park at your doorstep, you'll be spoilt for a choice of things to do. Carve up the slopes in winter, and in warmer weather explore the area's many stunning trails. Head out to Lake Jindabyne for a spot of fly fishing, sailing, water skiing or swimming, or saddle up and experience all these incredible country offers. Just six hours from Sydney, the centre is a short drive from town and 30 minutes from the snowfields.

YHA Thredbo

Award-winning YHA Thredbo is a purpose-built lodge in the heart of Thredbo Village. It features a cosy atmosphere with a fireplace and great views over the mountain and ski fields. The property is equipped with a great self-catering kitchen that will help you keep costs down and there are a range of shared, private and family rooms available. As one of the only budget options in Thredbo, the property is extremely popular during ski season, but the YHA is also a great base to experience the Snowy Mountains during summer, with a huge range of summer activities including mountain biking, and hiking available for guests to enjoy.

Scout NSW Alpine Activity Centre

The Alpine Activity Centre in Jindabyne offers high-quality, budget-friendly accommodation at the heart of NSW’s High Country. The Centre is set amidst four acres of bushland, and boasts spectacular views of Lake Jindabyne. Its comfortable self-contained cottages and purpose-built dormitory-style accommodation cater for groups of all shapes and sizes, providing a base where guests can unwind, rejuvenate and take on exhilarating adventures all year round. The Centre’s two self-contained cottages – Kanangra and Bluegum – sleep up to nine people each, perfect for a small groups such as families and friends. Each cottage is air-conditioned, and has its own kitchen, laundry, two bathrooms, television, as well as a veranda and outdoor barbecue area overlooking Lake Jindabyne. The Tony Balthasar Lodge is ideal for larger groups including schools, sports and community groups, with its dormitory rooms sleeping up to 96 people. Comfortable bunk beds are featured throughout, while its large commercial style kitchen allows groups to self-cater during their stay. The Lodge also has a dining room with 100-seat capacity, and communal lounge area perfect for winding down at the end of the day. Parking available onsite, with space for boats, cars and coaches. Whether you are coming to enjoy hiking, fishing, biking or water sports during summer or skiing and snowboarding during winter, this is the perfect place from which to enjoy it all!
