Charlotte Pass Village to Perisher Valley walk is part of the spectacular new Snowies Alpine Walk – a multi-day hike through alpine and sub-alpine landscapes in Kosciuszko National Park. Kosciuszko Chalet Hotel

The Kosciuszko Chalet at Charlotte Pass Ski Resort was established in 1930 and is the birthplace of modern skiing in Australia. Proud of their long tradition, several generations of skiers have learnt to ski on these slopes. The small snowbound resort is a perfect environment for a family ski holiday and cross country skiing. The whole emphasis is on ski fun for all the family at an affordable price. In true mountain style, all common areas are roomy and comfortable with open fireplaces, recreation areas, bars and live entertainment. During winter, access is via Over Snow transport from Perisher Valley.

Arlberg Ski Lodge

Arlberg Ski Lodge is a stunning, private ski lodge nestled at the top of Charlotte Pass Village. It offers the best panoramic views of the mountains in Charlotte Pass and provides full catering by its Lodge managers during the winter season. Arlberg is renowned for its hearty breakfasts, warm lunches, bluebird day barbecues, and delicious dinners every night. The lodge caters exceptionally well to children, offering an earlier dinnertime and meals made from fresh, quality ingredients. The lodge offers twelve ensuite rooms, including larger family and twin/double rooms. Each room has its own thermostat controls, and all linen and towels are provided. The sunny, north-facing lounge area is arguably one of the most stunning rooms at the top of Australia, boasting fabulous views of the ski slopes and mountains on three sides, as well as a central open fire. The lounge features a guest kitchen and an extensive games cupboard, providing a friendly communal area for relaxation. The lodge also houses an impressive spa for warming down after a big day on the slopes and a playroom for kids. With no television, guests have more time to chat, read, wind down, and make new friends. At the lodge's entry, there is a convenient boot room, drying room, and ski storage area. Washing and drying facilities are also available.

Charlotte Pass and Lookout

The village of Charlotte Pass is the highest resort in Australia, at 1760 metres. The village is also snowbound for most of the ski season. Ski lifts are right on the doorstep, and there are no long queues so you get more time on the snow. The Village is ideal for parents and children, with gentle slopes for beginners, plenty of intermediate terrains, challenging advanced runs and cross-country trails. Eight kilometres past Perisher Valley towards Mount Kosciusko, Charlotte Pass Village is the highest village in Australia. Access is by over-snow transport from the Perisher Valley Skitube terminal. Charlotte Pass Lookout and Boardwalk are accessible during the summer months by car. Enjoy the majestic views, and there are numerous walking tracks you can take in Kosciuszko National Park.
