Elms Restaurant

Situated in the heart of Tumbarumba, the Elms Restaurant is an award-winning restaurant that will never disappoint. The restaurant features a mouth-watering à la carte menu using local seasonal products and an extensive wine selection including local wines and spirits. Enjoy a local wine by the fireplace and look out on the beautiful, flourishing town of Tumbarumba.

Cherry Tree

Cherry Tree is a historical lifestyle property surrounded by many acres of farmland on the Snowy Monaro 20 minutes from Cooma. Driving from Cherry Tree along the country's scenic back roads via historical Dalgety on the Snowy River and Jindabyne at the foothills of the mountains it will take about one hour 15 minutes to reach the ski fields and Snowy Mountains National Park. Cherry Tree offers accommodation in two cottages. Cooks Cottage has two single beds (which can be combined to make a king double) and a sofa bed in the living room. The second is the stone cottage a large luxury studio-style getaway for two adults with a queen bed and a large travertine shower room with a heated floor. Both cottages have full kitchens and wood stoves and are furnished to a high standard. Both cottages have private outdoor seating areas and barbeque facilities to enjoy the scenery. For a small fee, guests can book the heated hot tub for their exclusive use. A highlight for guests is the opportunity to hand-feed alpacas and friendly Highland cows.

Alpine Inn, Khancoban

The Alpine Inn has recently reopened after a top top-to-toe renovation of the resort. Featuring 36 immaculately renovated rooms with each of their rooms including a beautifully renovated ensuite equipped with a shower, basin and toilet. Guests will enjoy the comfort of a Koala mattress and bedframe, along with amenities such as a 55-inch smart TV, fridge, kettle, wardrobe and air-conditioning. Guests can enjoy the onsite swimming pool, award-winning bistro, sports bar, al fresco dining, three beautiful fireplaces and on-site cafe.

Recognised as a Level 2 Accredited Visitor Information Centre, their service extends beyond in-person visits—they also offer assistance over the phone, email, and mail, providing complimentary information packs to kick-start your journey. Highplain - Private Chalet

High Plain, a luxurious Alpine Chalet in Crackenback resort, is nestled in the heart of Thredbo Valley, bordering the Kosciuszko National Park. Avonside Alpine Estate is an ecologically sustainable Eco-Tourism business situated in Avonside, 15 minutes north of Jindabyne, located within Destination NSW’s subregion ‘Snowy Monaro’. Positioned in the foot hills of the Snowy Mountains, Avonside Alpine Estate enjoys a close proximity to the major arterial road ‘Kosciusko Road’, providing visitors with easy access to a large number of amazing nature-based experiences such as snowfields in the winter and hiking trails in the warmer months. Big Yard Farm

Set on 100-acres of lush pasture, dotted with the region’s snow gums and bordering the Kosciuszko National Park, Big Yard Farm welcomes guests for a premium stay on a working, regeneratively-operated cattle farm. Around 15 minutes’ drive from the Snowy Mountains capital Jindabyne, Big Yard Farm offers a tranquil base from which to explore the region’s snow sports as well as popular summer activities like hiking, trout fishing and mountain biking. Fresh water at Big Yard Farm comes directly from the Mowamba River which runs along the property’s front border, fed by snowy mountain streams. Renowned as blue-ribbon trout fishing territory, the river is also home to small fish and hopefully also platypus. Wombats and native birds enjoy a peaceful life along its banks. A three-bedroom house with premium appointments, two open fires and a pool room, plus long verandahs for lounging and dining provides guests with a comfortable farm stay. The house is surrounded by rolling green lawns, gardens, grapevines and lavender rows, while fruit and nut trees lead to the help-yourself kitchen garden. All power is generated via rooftop solar panels. Big Yard Farm is pup-friendly based on pre-approval and a wonderful chance for dogs to enjoy the free open spaces. As Big Yard Farm is a working cattle farm, pet owners need to be mindful of their pup’s behaviour around the cows.

Clancy's Cottage- Talbingo

Relax with family and friends at this peaceful cottage. Backing onto the golf course and close to everything the Talbingo Village has to offer, water skiing, fishing, bush walking, mountain biking, hiking and snow skiing. A complete renovation in 2023, makes Clancy's Cottage bright, luxurious and spacious inside. The comfort of split systems in all rooms, a beautiful brand-new kitchen, modern bathrooms and wonderful mountain views from the large deck. It truly is the perfect place to stay all year round.

Discovery Parks - Jindabyne

Did you know that Lake Jindabyne is half the size of Sydney Harbour? Discovery Parks - Jindabyne overlooks this gorgeous lake in the Snowy Mountains, a year-round adventure destination. Thirty minutes drive from your caravan park and you’ve arrived in the alpine country ski slopes in winter. Summer’s the time for mountain biking, white-water rafting, horse-riding and bushwalking. Take a mountain drive to local wineries, restaurants and galleries. Explore Mount Kosciuszko National Park by foot, horseback, canoe, car, mountain or trail-bike. Marvel at the 440 million year old stalagmites and stalactites of Yarrangobilly Caves or take a dip in the thermal pool, constantly at 27 degrees.

Oriental Hotel Tumut

One of the historic hotels of the region, renowned for its pub food and friendly atmosphere, "The Ori" is worth a visit. Stay for a quick drink, lunch or dinner, overnight stay or function. The Oriental Hotel Tumut has been on the site since the early 1850's. It was originally called the Queen's Arms. Their five double or three twin air-conditioned bedrooms are upstairs and are a great budget accommodation option for singles, couples or groups if you have sampled sufficient craft beer, cocktails or local wines. The shared bathrooms are recently renovated. Tea and coffee facilities available.

Oriental Hotel Tumut

One of the historic hotels of the region, renowned for its pub food and friendly atmosphere, "The Ori" is worth a visit. Stay for a quick drink, lunch or dinner, overnight stay or function. The Oriental Hotel Tumut has been on the site since the early 1850's. It was originally called the Queen's Alms. The Oriental Hotel offers lunch and dinner, seven days a week. Enjoy fresh local produce and hearty pub classics. The pub's restaurant has got something for everyone. Their chefs are always coming up with new dishes on the chargrill and smoker. The Snowy Valleys and Tumut surrounds are home to many wonderful producers including locally sourced meats, trout, fruits, wineries, cideries, breweries, distilleries and more. Enjoy some of the best pub food that the region has to offer. They have many craft beers on tap, local ciders and a range of gins for tasting. There are outside and inside seating options, pool table and function spaces. Events and large groups are catered for in the large dining room or balcony areas or smaller private events can be held in the upstairs function room.
