Their property is 15 minutes to Jindabyne and 10 minutes to Berridale. The property is close to the Snowy Mountains so you will have nature at your doorstep for walks, wildlife and snow. Their property is for travellers looking for a quiet and relaxing setting looking across the hills all to yourself. They are a working farm with cattle, horses and goats. They are set in the bush with easy access to a flat area for a caravan up to 28ft/9metres inc drawbar. They have an onsite toilet, shower and washing machine for your convenience. There is bore water to connect if you need. The access road is a well-maintained gravel road for approximately 2 kilometres into the property. They have a designated firepit area with a fire drum for your pleasure. There is plenty of space for walks or bring your mountain bike. Come and enjoy this quiet setting.

The Dalgety Heritage Town and River Walk is a self-guided journey through one of the Snowy Monaro's most historic villages. Following the banks of the scenic Snowy River, the walk showcases Dalgety's rich heritage, historic buildings, and stories from its pastoral and pioneering past, while offering picturesque river views and opportunities to spot local wildlife. The village of Dalgety is the only town in New South Wales left on the banks of the Snowy River and was once considered a site for Australia's national capital. Australian Alps Walking Track

The Australian Alps extend from Canberra and the nearby Brindabella range, through the Snowy Mountains of New South Wales and along the Great Dividing Range to the northeast of Melbourne. It forms the largest area of mountainous alpine country in the nation! More than ten peaks in the Alps exceed 2100 metres, including Mt Kosciuszko, Australia's highest mountain at 2228 metres. The 655-kilometres Australian Alps Walking Track generally follows ridges and high plains through some of the highest countries in Australia and is mostly remote from any settlement. You can walk the track in ten weeks, but many people choose to walk shorter sections such as Baw Baw Plateau, Bogong High Plains and the Jagungal Wilderness. Before exploring the Alps, walkers must obtain detailed maps of their chosen walking area including a copy of "Alpine Walking Track" by J. Siseman.

Jacarry Rocks Retreat, Jindabyne

Nestled on the gentle, rolling hills of The Snowy River Way, tucked away from the road, and only a short drive from town, Jacarry Rocks feels miles from anywhere. This place is set amongst an abundance of beautiful, old Candlebark trees, granite boulders, native grasses and shrubs. The trees with their sculptural trunks and hollows provide homes and nests for many native birds and eagles. The property has 500 metres of Mowamba River frontage where platypus and trout abound. Kangaroos, wallabies and fallow deer wander down at dusk to nibble on the grasses and sheep can be seen grazing on the hillside of a neighbouring farm. Guests are able to enjoy glorious sunrises and sunsets, from an elevated, yet private position taking in the natural beauty. Please note the sites are for caravans and motorhomes only.
