They provide reliable, up-to-date information on roads, snow conditions, dining, and history. The professional team is here to help you make the most of your time in the Snowy Monaro region. Whether you need fishing licenses, local discounted national park passes, family history and genealogy assistance, or recommendations for things to do, they have you covered. Recognised as a Level 2 Accredited Visitor Information Centre, their service extends beyond in-person visits—they also offer assistance over the phone, email, and mail, providing complimentary information packs to kick-start your journey. Tumbarumba Visitor Information Centre and Museum

The Tumbarumba Visitor Information Centre is located in the centre of town. Here you will find information about accommodation, attractions, events, road and weather conditions. You will find a range of featured local produce from the Snowy Valleys. The centre carries topographic maps, local produce and books. You will also find a fascinating historical museum, along with a comprehensive collection of information about Tumbarumba's history of gold mining, timber, and mountain cattlemen. Tumbarumba Visitor Centre also has a Driver Reviver station for travellers needing a break.

Perisher Valley Office

Conveniently located on Kosciuszko Road, this small but helpful office with visitor facilities makes an ideal stop on your way through Perisher to Charlotte Pass and Mount Kosciuszko. Pick up maps or books, and ask our knowledgeable staff about activities in the Perisher Range, including winter enquiries for the ski resort villages of Perisher, Blue Cow, Smiggin Holes and Guthega. They also provide important information on park conditions, closures, access and safety. A small range of hiking essentials are also available. You can also complete a trip intention form and hire a personal locator beacon (PLB) before setting out on your alpine hike, mountain bike ride, or cross-country skiing adventure in the Main Range or Kosciuszko back country.

Bombala Visitors Centre

The Bombala Visitors Centre, located in Railway Park next to the Lavender House, offers information about the surrounding areas of Bombala and Delegate and local souvenirs and products for sale. The staff will be able to give you directions to wonderful lookouts, relaxing walks and the best spots for platypus sightings.
