Tourism Snowy Mountains (TSM) has been appointed by Snowy Valleys Council to manage the official Visit Snowy Valleys (VSV) social media channels.
The partnership will deliver a year-round program of destination storytelling, highlighting everything the Snowy Valleys has to offer - from cool-climate wines and farm-to-plate dining to outdoor adventures, seasonal events and welcoming towns.
What the partnership includes
TSM’s role will cover:
A tailored digital marketing strategy
Day-to-day management of Visit Snowy Valleys’ social media accounts
A seasonal visitation calendar shaped around core events and content pillars
Regular performance reporting
Coordination of dedicated content shoots
Cross-promotional opportunities between TSM and VSV channels
Both VSV and TSM will continue to maintain distinct brand identities and TSM’s role is to oversee the Visit Snowy Valleys channels while identifying opportunities for cross-promotion through seasonal storytelling where the regions naturally align. This collaborative approach strengthens both destinations by delivering stronger campaigns, broader reach and greater visibility for local operators.
Telling the Snowy Valleys story
Nick Wilton, Snowy Valleys Council’s Acting Director Community, Corporate and Development, said:
“Tourism is one of the key drivers of our local economy and Council is proud to invest in initiatives like this partnership that builds visibility, attracts visitors and showcases the best of what our communities have to offer,”
TSM Chair Rob Lloyd added:
“I’m really excited about this partnership with Visit Snowy Valleys. I have complete confidence in the TSM team to deliver curated content and collaborative campaigns that align perfectly with the VSV brand – creating authentic moments and practical trip ideas that truly inspire travellers.”
Why this partnership matters
Tourism Snowy Mountains brings proven expertise in destination marketing and campaign delivery. The Snowy Mountains strength in alpine adventure and the Snowy Valleys focus on cool-climate wine, food and artisan experiences complement one another, creating a stronger, year-round visitor journey. Importantly, both regions benefit from this collaborative approach, which allows for shared seasonal storytelling while keeping their brand identities distinct.
