Visit the Snowy Mountains this Easter for adventures, festivals, family fun and the ultimate escape from the city.

What to Expect from the Weather

Our stunning region covers a vast area that varies greatly in elevation, from the lofty heights of Mt Kosciuszko at 2,228m to the quaint riverside town of Bombala, which sits at 705m. Due to this, visitors can expect differences in the weather and temperatures depending on where they are. As a touch point, the average temperature for April at Snowy Mountains Airport is around 18°C. April is typically a sunny month, so, with some luck, you can expect clear days and crisp nights when you visit the Snowy Mountains this Easter. Perfect for doing activities during the day and relaxing at night! However, we definitely recommend packing the raincoats and woolly jumpers because it’s a good idea to be prepared for anything the weather throws your way.
