Getting here is easy

The easiest way to experience the incredible terrain is at ground level – leave Canberra by car or motorcycle and be in the Snowy Mountains in an hour.

Once you’re here, explore the region via a network of roads, boasting diverse and spectacular scenery. Don’t forget to check the seasonal information if travelling in winter.

Fly into Canberra from most capital cities, or direct to Cooma with Regional Express (REX) airlines, who conduct year-round return flights from Sydney into Snowy Mountains Airport.
