Enjoy Easy Access to the Slopes with the Snowy Mountains Bus Service

Whether you’re planning a weekend getaway or an extended ski adventure, the Snowy Mountains Bus Service can provide a convenient and affordable transportation solution to the slopes.

From 10 June to 1 October 2023, skiers and snowboarders can enjoy a stress-free journey from Jindabyne to Perisher and Thredbo, and back. This is a trial bus service which has been extended due to popular demand from the 2022 Winter season.

The Snowy Mountains Bus Service runs daily to Thredbo and Perisher (with access to Charlotte Pass Over Snow Transport terminal), providing easy access to the ski resorts throughout the entire ski season. Gone are the days of worrying about heavy traffic, icy roads, fitting snow chains and limited parking spaces. By opting for the bus service, you can relax and leave the transportation logistics to the professionals!

The bus service runs hourly during the ski season, ensuring that you have plenty of options to choose from when planning your trip. Additionally, during peak ski season, from Friday to Sunday, buses depart every 30 minutes from 6am-10am and 2pm-6.30pm, making it even more convenient for those seeking maximum time on the slopes.

An adult return journey costs just $21 and there a number of seasonal and family passes available.

This service is being trialled for winter 2023 after a successful trial in 2022. What’s new for 2023? Park your car for free at Station Resort and catch the bus to the slopes. Plus an extended route to East Jindabyne and Tyrolean Village, as well as a new service connecting Jindabyne with the Skitube at Bullocks Flat.
